A school rooted in Runda, open to the world
Founded in 2012 by educators who wanted international learning without leaving the neighbourhood.
Learning that travels
Riverbend began in 2012 with 60 children in a converted house in Runda. The founders, teachers from Kenya, the UK and India, wanted an international programme that still felt like part of Nairobi.
Today more than 700 children from over 40 countries learn here. The curriculum is international. The values, a love of learning, kindness and curiosity, are local.
