Limuru, Kenya — Highland sanctuary of learning at 2,200m altitude
Rooted in Faith, Driven by Purpose Since 1962
Founded in 1962 on the eve of Kenyan national sovereignty by an ecumenical council of visionary educators and civic leaders, St. Anselm's was conceived as an uncompromised academy of intellectual rigor and Christian character.
Set amidst the cool, bracing climate of the Limuru tea highlands, our scholars are shielded from urban frenzy yet deeply engaged with modern African and global realities. For over six decades, our alumni have carried the school motto, "Veritas et Virtus" (Truth and Virtue), into parliament, supreme courts, medical research laboratories, and global enterprise.
